What happens when you are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to helping others? Well, sometimes it takes a little longer than normal to enter the 21st century. But we are getting there!

Thanks to two very dedicated Del Mar Foundation Board members there is now a website. Over the last several months, Joe Sullivan and Hershell Price have been gathering history, grant applications, calendars, and pictures - all for public knowledge. With the help of webmaster, Philippe Lamoise, our website is now a reality.

"The website is a powerful tool because it provides two-way communication," says former Del Mar Foundation president, Joe Sullivan. "We can keep people informed about Foundation activities. Just as importantly, is gives us a new way to hear from the community we serve."

So, want to know when the next Twilight Concert in the park will take place? Would you like to order a Picnic Dinner? How about the details for ordering your Shakespeare in the Plaza tickets on August 5th? Do you have a good idea for starting a project in Del Mar and need funding? Want to know where to send a contribution? Miss the latest Foundation Newsletter in the mail? How about a map to the Powerhouse? Maybe you have heard about "Payasada/HorsePlay" and would like to bid on one of these fabulously painted and embellished horses? Or maybe you are just bored and want to read our by-laws!

We are very proud of our new website and hope you will "give it a hit."
