Concert time is fast approaching

It is the start of another great year of Twilight Concerts sponsored by the Del Mar Foundation. We begin the season with Left for Dead on June 22 at 7:00 p.m. On July 13, the Corvettes, a local band will be performing and on August 24, come see Savor. Our season ends on September 12, with our family picnic and a concert at 4:00 with Tim Flannery and Friends. Powerhouse Park is a community park welcoming the sounds of our concerts and providing an atmosphere for family and friends to enjoy a picnic dinner as well as the open concert in Del Mar.
Have you ordered your dinners yet? With the start of the concerts comes dinners available for purchase for four, including wine. Del Mar restaurants are participating and they promise a savory meal for each concert. The cost for each basket at the concert is $150 and there is still time to order yours. In June, the food will come from En Fuego and Harvest Ranch, in July, Jakes Del Mar will provide the food, August will be Sbicca and Pacifica and the September concert meal will be provided by Brigantine and Bully's. Don't miss a chance to have your dinner cooked for you and available for pickup at the volunteers booth in front of the stage. Dinners will be available an hour before the concert. Just prepay and bring your appetite. The Del Mar Foundation is grateful for the generous participation of our local restaurants and their service to our community.
