Winter holiday performance for children

By Claire McGreal

The Del Mar Foundation, through its Children's Program Committee, is pleased to offer its Winter Holiday performance of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," a magical story by C.S. Lewis, produced as a two-person performance by the Traveling Lantern Theatre Company. The performance will take place at the Powerhouse on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 1:45 p.m. A holiday sing-along will follow the performance, and refreshments will be served.

There is no charge for attending the performance; however, reservations are mandatory due to limited space. Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To make a reservation, please call the Del Mar Foundation at (858) 635-1363 Ext. 1. Please leave your name, telephone number, and number of adults and children in your party.

Some children may want to be seated on the floor for the performance. In that case we suggest that you bring a cushion as the concrete floor will be cold. The Powerhouse can accommodate strollers. Please remember that adult supervision is required at all times.

Claire McGreal serves on the Board of the Del Mar Foundation and chairs its Children's Program Committee.
